Trudy Hope Manly, 84, formerly of Alexandria, and most recently of 180 Hickory Street, Wood, died at 1:32 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her home.
Born March 24, 1941, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Lillian Louise (Hoffer) Cunningham.
She is survived by her two children, Susan Lynn (Manly) Hood and her husband Tory of Calabasas, California, and Jeffrey Charles Manly and his wife Sandra of Wood, a daughter-in-law, Cristin Manly of Petersburg; two grandchildren, Sarah Louise Manly and Steven Charles Manly; two siblings, Glen W. Cunningham and his wife Jean of Huntingdon and Ronda O’Bryan and her husband James of Greenwood, Delaware.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Phillip Manly April 15, 2012, and her infant daughter Crystal Dawn Manly Aug. 15, 1969.
Trudy attended the Bible Baptist Church in Warriors Mark. She was an avid reader and enjoyed baking and cooking.
She graduated from Huntingdon Area High School with the class of 1959.
Trudy retired after working for 24 years as a custodian for Juniata College, Huntingdon.
She was a lifetime resident of Huntingdon County and at her Wood residence since 1987.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6-7 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 10, at the Bible Baptist Church of Warriors Mark, 2520 Pennington Road, Tyrone. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. immediately following the visitation with the Rev. David Donnelly officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, at the McAlevys Fort Presbyterian Cemetery, Petersburg.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Cutright Funeral Home-Smithfield Chapel, Huntingdon.
