SPOUSE SURVIVES at their residence.
SURVIVORS: in addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Thomas James Harman II and his wife Sumier of Jacksonville, Florida and a daughter April Harman of Alexandria.
In addition Tom is survived by his grandchildren: Max Harman, Finnley Matter, Thomas James Harman III and Lily Harman – a Great-Granddaughter Rowan Perez.
Also surviving are a sister, Colleen Harman McMahon of Petersburg and a sister-in-law Leslie Lang Harman of Huntingdon
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven D. Harman and a brother-in-law James McMahon.
Tom was also close friends of Paul LaPorte, Eric Horn, Ron Frazer and Rick Setzer who served with him in the Marines in Vietnam, as well as, the late Sam Whitesel.
PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: Tom retired in 2006 from the Warehouse at SCI Smithfield, previously working on the dairy farm at SCI Huntingdon.
MEMBERSHIPS: Tom was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church, Masonic Temple Standing Stone Number 0201 of Huntingdon, contributed to the success of the Isenberg Farms for a long number of years and enjoyed spending time with his family.
EDUCATION: 1964 Graduate of Juniata Valley High School
MILITARY: Sergeant with 4th United States Marine Corps serving in Vietnam. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with device, , the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with one star, Combat
Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Marksman Badge M-1 Rifle and Good Conduct Medal. He served from April 15, 1966 until his Honorable Discharge on September 5, 1969.
