Stacy Lynn (Grubb) Johnston

Stacy Lynn Johnston, 51, 1011 Juniata Ave., Huntingdon, died at 9:21 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

Born July 18, 1972, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of Cathy Culp of Huntingdon and Ronald “Mugs” Grubb and wife, Debra, of Huntingdon. She was married to Kevin L. Johnston June 3, 1995, at the 15th Street United Methodist Church in Huntingdon by the Rev. David Dearing. Mr. Johnston survives at their residence.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Ashlen Johnston of Huntingdon and Shawn-Douglas Johnston and his fiancé, Bethany Brown, Three Springs; grandson, Otis Michael Lee Johnston; three siblings, Kevin Reffner and his companion, Frannie King, Hesston; Eric Kugler, Huntingdon; and Jamie Patterson and her husband, Butchie, Smithfield; a sister-in-law, and two brothers-in-law, Beverly Honstine and her husband, Michael, Huntingdon; Jerry Johnston and his wife, Chris, Beech Creek; and Frank Johnston and his wife, Sallye, Barree; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Stacy was a homemaker.

She graduated from Huntingdon Area High School class of 1991.

Stacy was a member of the 15th Street United Methodist Church in Huntingdon. She was also a lifetime member of the Smithfield Volunteer Fire Co. and auxiliary. She loved spending her time with her grandson, Otis.

She was a lifetime resident of Huntingdon County and at her current residence for the past three years.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing and visitation from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the Cutright Funeral Home-Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. immediately following the visitation. The Rev. H. Lloy Blattenberger and K. Michael Honstine will officiate.

Private interment will take place in Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Huntingdon.
