Sharon Kay Campbell, 52, 378 Ohio St., Johnstown, died at 10:58 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, at her residence.
Born March 24, 1972, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of Patrick Erdman and his wife LuAnn of Frenchville, and her late mother Bonnie (Dick) Erdman who preceded her in death Sept. 9, 2024. She married Doug B. Campbell May 7, 1994, at the Petersburg Lutheran Church. Mr. Campbell survives at their residence.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Brian Campbell of Colorado. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother Derick Earl McClintic July 10, 2018.
Sharon worked as a caregiver in other people’s homes for many years.
She loved spending time with her husband and her dogs. She enjoyed watching hockey and Curve baseball.
Sharon graduated from Junaita Valley High School class of 1990.
She was a lifetime resident of Huntingdon County prior to the last eight years of living in Johnstown.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Cutright Funeral Homes-Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Carl Horne officiating.
Interment will be private.
