Robert Dale Kinzey, 80, 12961 Red Stone Ridge Road, Hesston, died at 7:54 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at his residence in Hesston.
Born March 14, 1943, in Blair County, he was the son of Albert James and Vesta (Imler) Kinzey
He is survived by his five children, Robert Kinzey Jr. and his wife Carol of Huntingdon, Wendy Hockenberry and her husband Dennis of Huntingdon, Kevin Kinzey and his wife Kim of Huntingdon, Nicole Sobyak of Huntingdon and Bray Kinzey of Hesston; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Two siblings also survive, Dwayne Kinzey and his wife Juanita and Leroy Kinzey and his wife Nancy of Saxton.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Jim Kinzey, Paul Kinzey and Dorothy Kinzey, and a granddaughter, Loryn.
Mr. Kinzey retired in 1998 after working for 30 years as a pipe fitter for Owens Corning Fiberglass in Huntingdon.
He was a member of the St. Matthew’s United Church of Christ in Entriken.
He was a resident of Huntingdon County since 1964 and had lived at his Hesston residence since 1976.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Cutright Funeral Homes-Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, immediately following the visitation with the Rev. Dale Parker officiating. There will be a private family interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Robert Dale Kinzey to St. Jude’s, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
