Nancy (Beaver) Howe

Nancy Beaver Howe, 87, 209 Westminster Drive, Huntingdon, died at 10:56 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at The Oaks at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon. Born April 1, 1938, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Francis O. and Louise (Dolly) Beaver. She married William Laird Howe who preceded her in death June 14, 2006. She is survived by five stepchildren, Brad Howe (Linda) of Alexandria, Brian Howe (Debra) of Porter Township, Brenda Finkle (Scott) of Laurel, Maryland, Beth Morris (Todd) of Mechanicsburg and Becky Howe of Sewickley. Nancy was an only child and the last surviving member of her immediate family. She had a career as a flight attendant with Capital and United Airlines. After her retirement from the airline industry, Nancy and her mother ran the family business, Beaver Monuments in Huntingdon. Nancy was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Huntingdon. She graduated from Huntingdon High School class of 1956 and attended Westminster College for two years. Per Nancy’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Private interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 Schoolhouse Hollow Road, Huntingdon, PA 16652. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Cutright Funeral Homes-Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon.
