Lorna Margaret (Fleck) Patterson

Lorna Margaret Fleck Patterson, 91, 6641 Towne Center Blvd., Huntingdon, died at 6:48 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Graystone Manor, Smithfield Township.

Born May 18, 1932, in Petersburg, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Margaret (Park) Fleck. She was united in marriage to James Irvin Patterson Dec. 1, 1949, in Petersburg, by Rev. Charles Stong. Mr. Patterson preceded her in death Nov. 23, 2020.

She is survived by her three children, Andy Patterson and his wife Donna of Huntingdon, Kimberly Patterson and her husband Tink of Lewistown and Scott Patterson and his wife Bonnie of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Jamie Hernandez and partner Donnie Conrad, David Patterson and his fiancée Suzy Parcero, Sheyanne Fox and her husband Matt and Lucas Patterson and his wife Michaela; six great-grandchildren, Ashtyn Hernandez, Marcus Hernandez, Maxon Hernandez, Autumn Hernandez, Abraham Fox and Boaz Fox; sister-in-law, Jean Myers of Alexandria; and sister Winifred Nobles of Grovetown, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by three siblings, Lois Davidson, Raymond Fleck and Lillian Baker.

Lorna worked for Westab, J.C. Blair Co. and Elco Corp. before retiring.

She was a member of Alexandria Presbyterian Church. Lorna lived for her family, especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her cats and dogs. She enjoyed playing bingo. Lorna was a big Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan.

She graduated in 1950 from Juniata Valley School District, having attended classes at Petersburg Vocational High School.

She was a lifetime resident of Huntingdon County.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Cutright Funeral Homes —Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 9, immediately following the visitation with the Rev. Nathan Koozer offficiating.
