Judy Ann Rupert, 75, 303 Main St., Apt. A, Alexandria, died at 6:45 p.m.Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Embassy of Huntingdon Park, Huntingdon.
Born April 1, 1948, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Freda (Cutwright) Hetrick. She married Charles “Daniel” Rupert Sept. 9, 1966, at the Nazarene Church in McConnellstown. He preceded her in death Sept. 20, 2001.
She is survived by her two daughters, Wanda Ruiz and her husband Zeke of Alexandria and Barbara Rupert and companion John Brumbaugh of Carrollton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Linzy Brumbaugh and her fiancé Rogan, Daniel Ruiz and his wife Kylee, Rodney Ruiz and his wife Paige and Joshua Ruiz and his fiancée Nicki; 10 great-grandchildren, Kadee Denison, Hunter Rupert, Parker Rupert, Logan Ruiz, Landon Ruiz, Kolten Ruiz, Jaxson Ruiz, Travis Ruiz, Dominic Ruiz and Eliana Ruiz
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Kimberly Rupert, a grandson Travis Rupert and three brothers, Don Hetrick, Willard “Bud” Hetrick and John Hetrick.
Judy retired after working for many years in the deli department at Walmart Supercenter in Huntingdon. Judy loved spending her time with her grandchildren.
She graduated from the Juniata Valley High School class of 1966.
Judy was a resident of Huntingdon County for most of her life except for the 20 years she spent in Ohio.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Cutright Funeral Home — Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon.
A memorial service will be held immediately after the visitation at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Art Speck will officiating. Interment will be made in Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Huntingdon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Judy Ann Rupert to the: Huntingdon Community Center, 310 Fifth St., Huntingdon, PA 16652.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Cutright Funeral Home-Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon.
