Gloria Kay Norris, 77, formerly of Piney Ridge Road, Hesston, died at 4:03 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at Embassy of Huntingdon Park, Huntingdon, where she was a resident since 2016.
Born Oct. 4, 1946, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Hiram J. and Thelma M. (Dean) Norris.
She is survived by her three siblings, Dewayne Norris and his wife Myla of Hesston, Richard Norris and his wife Jean of Saxton and Larry Norris and his wife Kathy of James Creek; and sister-in-law Tammy Norris of Hesston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Edward Norris in 2022.
Gloria retired in 2010 after working for a long number of years at the Skills of Central PA in Huntingdon.
Gloria attended Jacob’s Church also known as the White Church of Hesston during her lifetime. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed doing crafts and walking.
Gloria attended Huntingdon Area High School.
She was a lifetime resident of Huntingdon County.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing and visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Cutright Funeral Homes — Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with the Rev. H. Lloy Blattenberger officiating.
Private interment will be made in White Church Cemetery, Hesston.
