Frank B. Pandolfino Sr., 56, the man, the myth the legend, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024.
If you knew him, you probably loved him.Frank’s infectious smile, sense of humor and ornery grin could light up any room.
Frank fought an almost eight-year battle with stage 4 cancer valiantly and selflessly.
Frank used every opportunity along this journey to share God’s love and strength with others. There were many times those who entered to encourage Frank, left uplifted themselves.
Frank and his family have been blessed with an army of family and friends who have fought alongside him. There are no words to show the level of love and appreciation owed to them.
Frank battled daily “just to have a little more time with his children.” He looked forward to watching them grow and see what God has in store for their futures. Frank was so proud of all four of his children and loved them beyond words.
Frank is the son of Frank Pandolfino and Nancy (Price) Pandolfino. Frank was united in marriage to Amanda (Sherlock) Pandolfino in September 2007.
Also surviving are Frank’s children, Frank Jr., wife Jatera, grandchildren Gavin, Serenity and Harmony; Tyler Pandolfino; Sierra Pandolfino (at home) and Chase Pandolfino (at home), all of Huntingdon; and his sister, Wendy (Pandolfino) Williams and husband Steve, Huntingdon. Frank is also survived by many nieces and nephews he loved.
Frank was a 1986 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School. He worked in the construction business for the past 35 years. In 1997, Frank started his own company, Good Boyz Construction, where he worked until unable. Frank took great pride in the homes he built and relationships he formed with his customers.
Frank enjoyed golfing, hunting and traveling whenever possible. He was also an avid baseball and football fan. The simplistic joys in life brought great joy to Frank. His favorite thing was to be surrounded by those he loved.
Frank was a member of the Community Chapel of Hesston. This is where Frank was saved and rededicated his life many years ago. Frank never hesitated to give someone a second chance because he remembered God’s grace in turning his life around. It’s never too late to be saved by God.
Throughout Frank’s fight, he often found comfort in the words of the song Even If by Mercy Me.
“I know you’re able and I know you can save through the fire with your mighty hand, but even if you don’t, my hope is you alone.”
The thing Frank wanted to leave in this world is for everyone to know of his love for his family, friends and, most importantly, his Heavenly Father. “It is well, it is well with His soul.”
