Eva Elida (Erikson) Martin

Died at her residence in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Eva was born in East Chicago, Indiana on February 5, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Edger and Virginia (Pearson) Erikson. She married Charles E. Martin on November 20, 1971 in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. He resides at their residence. 

In additions to her husband, she is survived by 9 children: Nathan Martin and his wife Becky of Shippensburg, David Martin and his wife Juanita of Hollidaysburg, Cathy Hoersch and her husband Ben of Gastonia, John Martin and his wife Heather of Shippensburg, Joe Martin and his wife Andi of Huntingdon, Seth Martin and his wife Cassie of Detroit, Michigan, Chris Martin and his wife Chelsey of Northfield, Ohio, Ginny Pettenger and her husband Zach of Huntingdon, and Joy Martin of Huntingdon.

20 Grandchildren

2 Sisters: Enid Albat of Arkansas and Edie Richards of Tennessee

She was preceded in death by a grandson Charlie Martin in April 2021.

Eva was a homemaker.

Eva was a member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, quilting, and walking. She loved spending time with her family.

Eva was a resident of Huntingdon County since 1978 and at her current residence since 1993.

Family and Friends are invited to a viewing and visitation on Tuesday - November 7, 2023 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 300 Standing Stone Church, Huntingdon 16652. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M.
