David Richard Woodring Sr., 52, died at 12:38 a.m. Friday - Nov. 17, 2023, at his residence at 251 King St., Petersburg.
Born in Bellefonte Aug. 8, 1971, he was a son of Terry L. Woodring and Linda Brown Woodring, who survive in Spruce Creek.
Mr. Woodring was a member and graduate of the Juniata Valley High School. David married Angela L, Trish October 26, 2002, at the Alexandria Presbyterian Church by the Rev. John C. Dean.
He was a foreman for Glenn O. Hawbaker Construction for 26 years. He enjoyed the pool league, membership with the Petersburg Catering Club and Sons of the American Legion. David loved the time spent with his family and his jeeps.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Angela, his children: Kadesha Trish and partner Candace Ellenburg, Lexus Woodring and David Woodring Jr., all of Petersburg. Also surviving are his grandparents, Lloyd and Ruth Morningstar of Huntingdon, a granddaughter Zola Haizlip, and two other special grandchildren.
Family and friends were received during a viewing and visitation from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, Nov. 19, at Cutright Funeral Homes - Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon, and from noon Monday, Nov. 20, until 1P.M.service at the funeral home. Interment followed at Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark, Pennsylvania.
